Degree Programs

Our degree programs are designed specifically for working adults or adults with work experience. The time has never been better to advance your career with a UWRF education!

Associate of Arts and Sciences: A partnership of UW campuses, the Associate of Arts and Sciences Degree is a 100% online collaborative degree. It is intended to provide a broad, balanced liberal arts and sciences background to satisfy the general education breadth requirements at four-year institutions.

Applied Computing: Designed for working adults, through a partnership of UW campuses, this fully online program will help you develop skills in both programming technology and business to prepare you to stand out and secure your spot in this growing field.

Early Childhood: Students with college credits in early childhood education or child development may apply credits earned toward a bachelor's degree and optional Wisconsin early childhood teaching certification (birth to age 8). Fully online starting Spring 2025.

Sustainable Management: This fully online program, through a partnership of UW campuses, prepares students for sustainability careers by teaching business and organizational topics through a sustainability lens: marketing and communications, financial and managerial accounting, supply chain management, information systems, economics and organizational behavior.

Returning to UWRF: If you’ve taken a break from UWRF and are considering returning, we can help you in completing your degree. The process is simple, although specific requirements may vary based on your individual circumstances.

Summer Session classes are open to current students looking to get ahead, students from other universities seeking transfer credits or those seeking non-credit professional and personal development. Courses are offered on campus, online or hybrid. Click here for more information and how to register.

Humane Handling Institute (HHI)

The Humane Handling Institute is a training program for humane livestock handling, stunning and equipment maintenance. The objective of the program is to develop humane handlers, stunner operators and maintenance personnel that have a deeper understanding of the "hows" and "whys" of humane handling, stunning and slaughter.

Retirement Planning Fundamentals

Over the course of three weeks, financial experts will help you focus on how you may prepare for a comfortable retirement, introducing you to concepts and strategies to handle your day-to-day finances, potentially reduce your taxes and manage your investments.

Test Prep Classes

We offer test preparation for a variety of standardized tests. Classes are offered synchronously in a live-online virtual classroom that provides the opportunity to interact in real-time with instructors.
