Accreditations
UW-River Falls is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), an independent regional accreditor based in Chicago. The HLC is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and its mission is to "advance the common good through quality assurance of higher education." The HLC is responsible for accreditation of 1000+ universities and colleges in nineteen states throughout the United States.
