Orientation and Move-In Day

New Year, New U(WRF)!

All incoming first year and transfer students (whether you're living on or off campus) get to kick off your time at UWRF with Orientation! Orientation is a one-day program, scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25. All new Falcons are expected to be in attendance, but if for whatever reason that’s not possible, let us know by emailing orientation@uwrf.edu.

If you are planning on living on campus, new student Move In is Saturday, Jan. 24. Move In information will be sent to your UWRF email directly from Residence Life. If you need a meal after moving in (lunch or dinner), you can grab a meal ticket from an Orientation Leader just outside the Riverside Commons (in the University Center) at the designated meal times:

  • Lunch: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Dinner: 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Parents, families and supporters can eat for free in the dining hall on move in day! You can learn more about the move-in process on our Residence Life website. Any questions can be emailed to orientation@uwrf.edu or texted to 715-941-0410 throughout Orientation and Week of Welcome. For live event updates and behind-the-scenes fun, follow @uwrforientation on Instagram!
