Business Administration is one of the largest majors at UW-River Falls. Graduates can look forward to careers in a corporate or business environment in the diverse areas of finance, management, marketing or others depending on what area the student would like to focus on throughout their studies.
The vision of the College of Business and Economics is to be the regional leader in the acquisition, application and transfer of business and economic knowledge. Consistent with this vision, the College is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.
As a student majoring in business administration, you will have a variety of opportunities to select a program to meet specific interests. You can choose to pursue business administration on its own or with an emphasis in marketing, management or finance. A minor is not required.
Business Administration faculty members have graduate degrees and experience in the business world. They are active in research in human resources, product pricing models, securities valuation and international competition. Faculty advise students in the selection of appropriate courses, career considerations, finding an internship, learning about overseas study programs and conducting independent research projects.
