UW-River Falls Offers Preparation Workshop for Aspiring Teachers The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is offering a half-day workshop that will help prepare aspiring teachers for content area exams required for teaching licenses. The Praxis II Exam Workshop will be offered Tuesday, Jan. 12, from noon-4 p.m. in the Wyman Education Building on campus. UW-River Falls Welcomes New WiSys Regional Associate The University of Wisconsin–River Falls welcomes to its campus the first WiSys Regional Associate for western Wisconsin, Kristen Ruka. As a representative of WiSys, a private foundation dedicated to connecting inventors on the UW comprehensive campuses and two-year colleges with businesses and tech transfer resources, Ruka will facilitate outreach and development efforts across the region.
