Founded in 1874, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is one of 13 universities in the prestigious Universities of Wisconsin. UW-River Falls has a reputation for being a place where students discover accessible and outstanding learning opportunities, in and out of the classroom, in each of its over 70 academic programs. The university enrolls over 5,000 students annually in its three distinct colleges:

  • The College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences offers programs in agricultural economics; agricultural education; engineering and agricultural engineering technology; animal and food science; and plant and earth science and boasts two laboratory farms, a greenhouse complex, food processing plants, and a successful industry internship program. The college has earned an outstanding reputation for excellence in education and service to the region, nation, and world since 1912 and is consistently ranked as one of the top undergraduate agricultural programs in the nation.
  • The College of Arts and Sciences offers innovative academic programs and degrees in fields such as the fine arts, social and behavioral sciences, biomedical and health sciences, digital media technologies, pre-engineering, and mathematics. The college’s philosophy is to offer a well-rounded liberal arts education equipping students with the ability to communicate clearly, question problems critically, think logically, engage collaboratively, value diversity and live ethically as citizen leaders.
  • The College of Education, Business and Allied Health is the largest college at UWRF and houses three schools: the School of Education, the School of Business and Economics and the School of Allied Health and Social Work. Formed by the merger of the College of Education and Professional Studies and the College of Business and Economics in July 2023, CEBAH is home to expert faculty, unique programs and limitless opportunities. Nationally recognized, accredited programs teach lifelong skills through personalized, hands-on learning, whether it's student teaching in a classroom, interning at a Fortune 500 business or working in our on-campus Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic.
