UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The food science and technology degree program is for students interested in careers in the processing, preservation, evaluation and distribution of foods. The curriculum will provide students with a strong foundation in both food science (food chemistry, food microbiology, food processing, etc.) and the basic sciences (physics, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.). Students also have the opportunity to take part in essential hands-on experiences in our dairy, meat and vegetable pilot plants.
