Wyman Series to Present Portland Cello Project

Feb. 18, 2011--The Portland Cello Project is the latest musical group to make a stop at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls as part of the Wyman Series. The concert is set for March 3 at 8 p.m. in North Hall auditorium. 

The members of the Portland Cello Project provide unique eclectic performances that are likely to feature Bach as they are OutKast or Britney Spears. Classically trained cellists, the Portland Cello Project defies convention and definition.

Opening the show and joining the group’s performance is Laura Gibson, folk singer and songwriter.
