UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
July 11, 2016 – In celebration of UW-River Falls and the value it brings to the local region, the university will host a community picnic on Tuesday, July 26, from 5-6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, with a required RSVP by July 21.
With more than 140 years of history, this event is intended to reinforce the positive and mutually beneficial relationship between UW-River Falls and River Falls area citizens. Local policy makers and other stakeholders have also been invited to attend and show their support.
The family-friendly event offers free food and beverages at the University Center on the UWRF campus. It will include a brief program featuring university/city leaders and students.
Guests are invited to stay for the St. Croix Valley Community Band Concert at the Wall Amphitheatre on campus at 7 p.m. The concert is part of the Chill on the Hill free summer concert series.
