Public invited to Freaky Family 5K 

October 3, 2019 - Come on out and push, pedal or run freaky fast at a 5K event on Saturday, Oct. 26, hosted by the Health and Human Performance Department at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Costumes are encouraged and treats will be provided. Bring family and friends out for a spooky fun time.

The Freaky Family 5K event welcomes individuals of all ages to participate in the running, pushing or pedaling of our 3.1mile route throughout and around the UWRF campus. Participants and supporters are encouraged to dress in Halloween attire. Fun prizes and awards will be given to runners and those with the most creative costumes!

Stick around after the run for the Trunk or Treat event across the street in the Dick's Market parking lot. Bring the family! Local businesses and sponsors are donating goods and treats available for trunk or treat participants.

Registration can be accessed at www.uwrf5K.yolasite.com as well as on site the day of the race. Adult registration is $20. Kids can run, bike or scooter for free with a registered adult. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the UWRF Falcon Center, 185 Emogene Nelson Ave., River Falls. Race time is 9 a.m.
