Film About Legendary Conservationist to Play at UWRF

April 11, 2011--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will show the recently released film “Green Fire” in the Kinnickinnic River Theater at the University Center April 20 at 5, 7 and 9 p.m. and April 22 at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m.

The film, a full-length, high definition documentary featuring conservationist Aldo Leopold, explores Leopold’s life in the early part of the twentieth century and the many ways his land ethic ideas are applied all over the world today. Leopold is known for his work as an educator, philosopher, forester, ecologist and wilderness advocate.
