Falcons Forward: UW-River Falls joins international day of giving Dec. 1

November 30, 2020 – As part of its ongoing efforts to meet the critical financial needs of the university and its students, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Foundation will participate in #GivingTuesday, the global day of generosity on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Funds raised on Dec. 1 will primarily support the Falcon Annual Fund, a vital unrestricted funding resource that helps address the university’s most immediate and pressing student-focused needs. Donors also have an opportunity to give to the Student Emergency Fund which provides support for students struggling to meet ongoing financial challenges prompted by COVID-19.

“During these unprecedented times, we appreciate more than ever the support of the campus community, alumni, friends and corporate partners,” said Rick Foy, assistant chancellor for University Advancement. “Each and every gift on #GivingTuesday makes an impact and moves the Falcons forward.”
