Annual Art Scholarship Sale Underway at UW-River Falls

November 20, 2013--The Annual Art Scholarship Sale is going on now through Dec. 11 at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in Gallery 101 in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building. The sale is open to the public.   

Choose from an extensive selection of studio arts including glass, ceramics, painting, fibers, printmaking, photography and mixed media. New items are added daily.  

An investment in quality artwork for you or as a gift also provides valuable contributions towards the continued education of art students at the university. The art available for purchase includes work by current art students and faculty, alumni, retired faculty and a variety of local artisans.  Participating artists retain 65 percent of the proceeds while the balance goes towards scholarships, visiting artists and the student Art Society fund at UWRF.   

Please note: the sale will be not be open Nov. 27-Dec. 1 for Thanksgiving break. The sale will resume again on Monday, Dec. 2.   

Gallery hours are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. For more information, contact the Art Department at 715-425-3266.
