Annual plant sale set for April 29-May 2

UW-River Falls to host annual plant sale April 29-May 2

April 24, 2026 — The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Greenhouse and the UWRF chapter of Pi Alpha Xi, a national honor society for horticulture, will host their annual plant sale Wednesday, April 29, through Saturday, May 2, at the UWRF Greenhouse, 623 S. 3rd St., River Falls. 

Students in UWRF’s floriculture class work individually and in teams to produce a variety of hanging plants, bedding plants, vegetables, potted plants and herbs, which will be available for purchase during the sale.

Sale hours:

  • Wednesday, April 29: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 30: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Friday, May 1: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 2: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

There is limited parking at the greenhouse. Accepted payment methods include credit card, cash or check.
