UWRF to present guest speaker for Black History Month
Jan. 29, 2026 – In observance of Black History Month, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Student Inclusion and Belonging Center will present guest speaker Larry Mboga Feb. 12 from 3-5 p.m. in the Falls Room in the University Center, 501 Wild Rose Ave., River Falls.
Mboga, an Eau Claire city councilman, will talk about his journey from Kenya to public service in Wisconsin. Mboga will share why civic engagement matters and how people can make a difference in their communities. The event is free and open to the public.
