UW-River Falls hosting free Frances Cohler Coffee Concert Series

River Falls, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin–River Falls has released the 2025-26 schedule for the free Frances Cohler Coffee Concert Series featuring a wide variety of musical performances by university faculty and special guests. 

The series includes performances on piano, cello, woodwinds, harpsichord, violin and vocals. Concerts take place at noon in Abbott Concert Hall in Kleinpell Fine Arts, 420 Cascade Ave., River Falls. Concerts are free and open to the public. 

Concert series events for 2025-26 include:

  • Friday, Sept. 12 – Ji Young Lee, piano, and Saerom Kwon, cello.
  • Friday, Oct. 17 – Natalia Moiseeva, violin, and Ivan Konev, piano.
  • Friday, Nov. 14 – Ivan Konev and Ji Young Lee, UWRF piano duo, and Yakov Kasman, UWRF Keyboard Festival special guest.
  • Friday, Feb. 6 – Ivan Konev, piano, and friends.
  • Friday, Feb. 27 – UWRF Woodwind Faculty Ensemble.
  • Friday, March 13 – “Duo Mythos in Early Music,” featuring Momoko Tanno, soprano, and Asako Hirabayashi, harpsichord.
  • Friday, April 3 – Laura Caviani Jazz Trio and Natalia Moiseeva, violin.
  • Friday, May 1 – “Edvard Grieg in Dialogue,” featuring Oda Voltersvik, piano.
