UWRF to Host Chamber Breakfast and Candidate Forum

July 19, 2011--The River Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau has set a new location for the Thursday, July 28, 7:30 – 8:45 a.m., Business Breakfast featuring a moderated forum with the candidates for the 10th Senate District Recall Race, Shelly Moore and Sheila Harsdorf.  

The event will be held in the Riverview Ballroom in the University Center at UW-River Falls. The cost is $15 and includes a buffet breakfast. Doors will open at 7 a.m. with the forum starting at 7:30 a.m. Parking is available in lots N and QM on campus. Maps of the UW-River Falls campus, including parking lot designations, are available at www.uwrf.edu/AboutUs/maps.cfm.  

The forum will provide an opportunity to interact with the candidates and learn about issues affecting the region. The panel discussion will be moderated with prepared questions and written questions will be accepted from the audience as time permits. Questions to be asked of the candidates can be submitted in advance to Rosanne Bump, Chamber CEO, at Rosanne@rfchamber.com. These will be reviewed, batched, and asked as time permits. 

The River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau does not take positions on issues but strives to provide opportunities to inform and educate members and the community about issues that may effect the community.    

Business Breakfasts are held quarterly and are open to members and the general public. Verizon Wireless World, River Falls, is the Business Breakfast sponsor.
