Students Receive Horticulture Scholarships

March 11, 2011--University of Wisconsin-River Falls students Katherine Smaglik and Matthew Wied recently received scholarships from the Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association (WLCA).

The students were awarded $500 and $250 respectively through the WLCA Milwaukee Metro Chapter’s John Orton Scholarships.

Smaglik is a sophomore horticulture major from Sussex and Wied is a sophomore horticulture major from Pulaski.
