Masquers to present ‘Wonder of the World’ 

January 14, 2022 - The Masquers Drama Student Organization at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls will present “Wonder of the World” by David Lindsay-Abaire February 2-5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Blanche Davis Theatre in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building.

Nothing will prepare you for the dirty little secret Cass discovers in her husband’s sweater drawer. It is so shocking that our heroine has no choice but to flee to the honeymoon capitol of the world in a frantic search for the life she thinks she missed out on. It’s a wild ride over Niagra Falls in a barrel of laughs as Cass embarks on a journey of self-discovery that has her crossing paths with an assortment of hilarious characters.

This is a comedy for mature audiences. Performances will include a simulated gun and simulated gunfire.

The play is directed by Flora Sherr-Nelson, a UWRF Stage and Screen Arts major from Stillwater, Minn. The cast consists of Corinna Brose of Little Falls, Minn., as Cass; Meredith Bowermaster of White Bear Lake, Minn., as Lois; Ryan Huling of Farmington, Minn., as Captain Mike; Austin Albright of Roberts as Kip; Klara Fansler of Osceola as Karla; Michael Kerr of River Falls as Glen; Jillian Black of Shawano as Janie, Barbara, Helicopter Pilot, Waitress 1  and 2.
