Cumings to headline Wyman Visiting Professorship in History March 15, 2018 – Bruce Cumings, an expert on the history of the Korean War and the Gustavus F. and Ann M. Lanning named director of athletics at UW-River Falls March 19, 2018 – Crystal Lanning has been named director of athletics at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Lanning, who has served as interim athletic director since 2016, will assume her permanent duties April 1.
Seniors present BFA exhibitions March 23, 2018 - University of Wisconsin-River Falls seniors Gretchen Askew, Joe P. Bertelsen, Emily Holman, and JJ Knapp will present their BFA work in Gallery 101 in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building March 30-April 10. Travis named provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs David Travis, dean of the College of Letters and Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has accepted an offer to become provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Travis’ first day on campus will be June 15.

More than 1,000 students are expected to compete in 16 team events and three additional contest opportunities.
