Fall 2014 Commencement is December 13 at UW-River Falls
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will hold its fall commencement at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Robert P. Knowles Physical Education and Recreation Center. Some 398 bachelor's degrees and 51 master's degrees will be granted this semester.
 
UW-River Falls Faculty Receive Undergraduate Research and Discovery Grant to Create Kinni Watershed Consortium
Assistant Professor of Conservation Jarod Blades and Jill Coleman-Wasik, assistant professor of Environmental Science, at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls were recently awarded a University of Wisconsin System Undergraduate Research and Discovery Grant.
 
UW-River Falls Student Places Third in Nation at SASES Conference
University of Wisconsin-River Falls student Jacob Zwiefelhofer of Bloomer placed third in the nation in the research poster competition with his poster, "Working to Achieve Drift Control for Emerging Dicamba Technologies" during the Students of Agronomy, Soils, and Environmental Sciences (SASES) conference in Long Beach, Calif., Nov. 1-3.
 
UW-River Falls Students O’Leary and Sorge Named to Pilot WiSys Ambassador Program
University of Wisconsin-River Falls students Rachel O’Leary and Erin Sorge are two of four University of Wisconsin System students named to the pilot WiSys Ambassador Program. O’Leary of Janesville and Sorge of Baraboo were recognized along with two student ambassadors from UW-Parkside at a reception in Madison earlier this month.
