Spaeth named Agriculture Future of America campus ambassador for UW-River Falls Kaylin Spaeth, a junior at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, has been selected as one of 15 campus ambassadors for Agriculture Future of America (AFA). Spaeth, of Emerald, is studying agricultural business and dairy science at UWRF.
State budget reductions impact UW-River Falls The impact of reductions in state support for the University of Wisconsin System, approved last July as part of the 2015-2017 state budget, are being reported by UW campuses. Recently, each of the 13 four-year universities as well as UW Colleges and Extension provided a written summary of impacts to the UW Board of Regents. UW-River Falls innovation team continues on to international competition University of Wisconsin-River Falls Director for the Center of Innovation and Business Development Danielle Campeau announced today that UW-River Falls Team Protein Pod was the winner of the university’s Second Annual Innovation Challenge. The win means the team is now accepted into the International Business Model Competition at the Microsoft Ventures Campus in Redmond, Wash., April 29-30 where they will compete with teams from around the world for more than $75,000 in prize money.

UW-River Falls team earns first place at North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge The University of Wisconsin-River Falls dairy team earned a first place award in the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge (NAIDC) held in Syracuse, N.Y., April 7-9. This was the 15th year of this international competition, which involved 128 students from 32 different universities.
