51st Falcon Frontier Days Rodeo at UW-River Falls Set For Sept. 11-12

September 3, 2015 -- The 51st annual Falcon Frontier Days Rodeo is Friday and Saturday, Sept. 11-12, at the outdoor rodeo arena at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Campus Farm located at 1475 S. Wasson Lane in River Falls.

 
Friday’s performance begins at 7 p.m. while Saturday’s performances are at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. The public is invited.

Ticket prices are $12/adults, $8/children age 5 and up, $8/UWRF students, children age 4 and under are free. Tickets purchased prior to the show are $2 off the listed prices. Pre-show tickets can be purchased on campus in the Agricultural Sciences building or the University Center Sept. 8-10 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The first rodeo at UWRF was held in May 1964 and featured the standard five rodeo events. The Saturday contest was preceded by a dance and parade. Visit the rodeo website for details about the rodeo and its history.
