Welcome to the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
There is a lot going on in our college worth taking a look at – exceptional faculty and staff, outstanding academic programs, a variety of student clubs and organizations, internships and other work opportunities, alumni events and much more.
For more than 100 years, educational programming in agriculture, food, and environmental sciences has been a vital component of the UWRF campus. From its beginning as a single program in agricultural education to the present array of 15 programs offered across a variety of disciplines, CAFES values its commitment to students and their future successes.
Our faculty and staff are truly committed to providing the best educational experiences both inside the classroom and out. We take pride in our hands-on, broad-based approach to teaching as well as the connections we maintain with alumni, private industries, government agencies, and many others to ensure our programs are current and relevant.
From our Laboratory Farms and Food Pilot Plants to the Greenhouses and South Fork of the Kinnickinnic River, you'll have access to high quality facilities and unique learning environments. Our internship program is well recognized for the real world experiences it provides to students. And our faculty and staff are engaged in numerous international projects with opportunities for student involvement and study abroad.
We're happy you found us! Please take a look at our Web site or even better, stop by for a visit. We look forward to answering your questions. On behalf of CAFES, we wish you well on your educational journey.
