Homecoming Border Battle Tug-O-War 
Hathorn mall  (rainsite:  Falcon Center)

Come represent your state with the tug-o-war battle of a lifetime. Wisconsinites vs. Minnesotans take to the rope and see which state will win the Homecoming title! Come cheer on your fellow Falcons and kick-off homecoming! Wisconsin took the cake last year. Will they defend their title? Join the fun and find out! Event is free and open to all.

Freddy's Dairy Bar Grand Opening
212A Agricultural Science building

The grand opening will include a brief program at 11 a.m. UWRF mascot Freddy Falcon will also make an appearance. Following the ribbon-cutting, the celebration continues with specials and giveaways throughout the day. Visit the Freddy’s Dairy Bar webpage for a schedule of games and prizes. Women's Volleyball vs. UW-Stout

  • Rallying for RhizoKids! This event is to help raise awareness and funds for research for this very rare genetic disorder which affects less than 75 children in the WORLD! You can purchase a t-shirt for the event from any of the women's volleyball team members for $12 each up to 2XL and $14 for 3XL and above.

St. Croix River Boat Cruise
Stillwater, Minn.

Campus update at the Dock Cafe at 4:30 p.m.
Boarding of the river boat at 5:45 p.m.

The annual St. Croix Boat Cruise will kick off Homecoming weekend festivities! Join us in Stillwater for a university update and reception at the Dock Café beginning at 4:30 p.m. with the boarding of a St. Croix river boat at 5:45 p.m. The cruise includes a dinner buffet and some amazing views of the fall colors on the St. Croix River.

Dinner includes: St. Louis Style BBQ ribs served with herb roasted chicken, potato, southern black beans, creamy coleslaw, fresh fruit, roll and butter and a gourmet cookie assortment. Cash Bar.

Cost is $38/per person. Ticket price includes appetizers at the Dock Café and a dinner and cruise ticket on the St. Croix river boat.

Frances Cohler Coffee Concert: Steve Kenny Quartet 
Davis Theatre, KFA

The Steve Kinny Quartet will perform a variety of jazz music as part of the Frances Cohler Coffee Concert Series. UWRF graduate Steve Kenny is a highly acclaimed trumpet player who brings musicians Miguel Hurtado, drums; Ted Olsen, bass; and Levi Schwartzberg, vibes. Free and open to the public. Refreshments following the concert.

The Alumni Advisory Board serves as a central link between the university and our alumni. The board is composed of 23 at-large members along with a student representative. The board meets twice each year on campus.

The cost for the breakfast is $10 per person. You will also have the opportunity to sponsor a breakfast for a current UWRF Falcon football player if you so choose. Several alumni last year sponsored the current player in their former jersey # or a player they personally know. Alumni are encouraged to park in Pay Lot 1 located west of North Hall.

After nearly two decades of efforts, the largest building project in the 140-year anniversary of UW-River Falls is officially open. The $63.5 million Falcon Center provides outstanding spaces for academics, wellness, recreation and athletics. Tours will depart from the alumni welcome tent near the front entrance of the Falcon Center on 15-minute intervals.
