Textbook Services has modified its services to provide a safer environment for you to collect and return textbooks for your courses. To promote physical distancing and limit the potential spread of COVID-19, all services are by appointment only.
All on-campus textbook pickups will be by appointment only. Make your appointment using the Textbook Pickup form online. You must show up during your scheduled time slot to pick up your books. If you miss your appointment, you will need to schedule a new appointment.
Textbooks to be picked up will be checked out and bagged. The outside of the bag will have a code that is the first two letters of your last name, the first two letters of your first name and the last 4 digits of your Falcon ID. Textbook pickup will be in Textbook Services in the basement of Hagestad Hall.
Students who are unable to come to campus to pick up textbooks should submit a mailing request using our online request form (https://www.uwrf.edu/TextbookServices/Mailing-Books.cfm). Mailing requests currently are taking 1 business day to be processed.
All on-campus textbook returns must be made to one of our Textbook Drop Boxes. Or outside drop box is on the east side of Hagestad Hall. Our inside drop box is to the left of our bulletin board just outside Textbook Services. Students who are not able to return books on campus should mail them to: UW-River Falls Textbook Services, 410 S. 3rd St., River Falls, WI 54022. We strongly encourage using a shipping method that includes tracking.
Summer textbooks need to be returned to one of our drop boxes or mailed back to Textbook Services at UW-River Falls Textbook Services, 410 S. 3rd St., River Falls, WI 54022. Textbook Services is not supplying shipping labels for summer term textbooks. Books may take a week or more to be checked in, as we are required to quarantine them for five days.
Spring term books can be returned to one of the drop boxes. All in-person returns need to be to a drop box. Books may take a week or more to be checked in, as we are required to quarantine them for five days. Students who could not return books in person should have received an email with a link to a pre-paid shipping (see note below.) Please follow the instructions below. (Go to instructions.)
NOTE: Pre-paid shipping labels were sent out starting in late May to all students who did not inform us they were returning them in person. If you did not receive a label and still need one, email email@example.com with the subject "Need Spring shipping label".
