>>> MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR IN-PERSON PICK UP <<<

If you are distance learning this term, or have circumstance that do not allow you to come in person, you can request your textbooks be mailed to you using the "Request Books to be Mailed" link on the left of this page. Mail requests can be made at any time. Processing of mailing requests started on Monday, January 11th. Due to large volume of requests and limited staff, mail requests may take up to 4 business days to be processed.

J-term Textbooks

In person check-out of textbooks for J-term is at the Textbook Services Help Desk in 29 Hagestad Hall. You do not need an appointment.

For students who are unable to come in person to get J-term textbooks, submit a mailing request using the "Request Books to Be Mailed" link on the left side of this page. Mail requests received after 11:00 am will not be processed until the next business day.

Fall Textbook Returns

Due date for Fall textbooks has been extended to Wednesday, December 30th. If you are mailing textbooks back, the package must be postmarked by this date to be considered on time.

All in person returns must be to one of our drop boxes or a designated drop point (see below.) Given the shift to online instruction after Thanksgiving, Textbook Services is setting up options to return textbooks early. If your textbook is no longer needed, you can drop it off at one of the following locations:

  • The book drop outside of Hagestad, which is open 24x7
  • The book drop in the basement of Hagestad, to the left of Textbook Services (29 Hagestad)
  • Collection bins on each of the three levels of the library lobby
  • Collection bins in the University Center near the information desk

All items from Textbook Services are due back by December 30th.

If you are unable to physically return your books to campus, mail your items to:

UW-River Falls
Textbook Services
410 S 3rd Street
River Falls, WI 54022

Textbook Services will not be supplying shipping labels. It is recommended that you include tracking when returning your textbooks by mail. Books that are mailed must be postmarked by December 22nd to be considered returned on time. Overdue and lost fees may apply.

If you have any questions concerning book return, please let us know at textbookservices@uwrf.edu.
