Textbook Services

Textbook Services Closed Fridays

Textbook Services will be closed on Fridays, from October 29th through December 4th, to facilitate our move  from Hagestad Hall to the Chalmer Davee Library.

Thanksgiving Break Hours

Textbook Services will be closed from Wednesday, November 24th through Sunday, November 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen at 8 a.m. November 29th.

Returning Fall Textbooks

Textbooks for Fall term are due by Tuesday December 21st at 4 p.m. We are expecting to have textbook return in the Chalmer Davee Library. Details will be posted soon. Books also can be returned to our drop boxes, whenever we are closed.

After Hours Returns

Textbook Services has two drop boxes for after hour textbook return. They are only open when Textbook Services is closed. One is on the east side of Hagestad Hall (about 50 feet north of the main entrance.) The other is set in the wall to the left of our main doors in the basement of Hagestad Hall.

Instructions for Shipping Textbooks Back to UWRF

  1. Pack all textbooks in a cardboard box or USPS Flat Rate Box. Fill any voids with packing material (e.g. air pillows, bubble wrap, newsprint).
  2. If you have only one or two books, you may use a padded shipping envelope instead of a box.
  3. Seal box with packing tape.
  4. Address the package to: UW-River Falls Textbook Services, 410 S. 3rd St., River Falls, WI 54022.
  5. Take the box to a Post Office, UPS Office or FedEx Store.
