Choose A Meal Plan


Any student who lives in a residence hall (other than South Fork Suites) must select a meal plan per the Housing and Meal Plan Contracts.  A meal plan is optional for all other students. 

ON CAMPUS STUDENTS MAY CHOOSE FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING FOUR MEAL PLANS  

Meal plan prices are subject to change until they have been approved by UWS Board of Regents early in July.  Students who are required to participate in a meal plan and do not select one, are automatically assigned the Weekly 14 meal plan. Meal plans are priced per semester.


 


All Access Plan            $1375 per semester

  • Unlimited dine-in access to Riverside Commons during normal hours
  • $80 in Dining Dollars to use at any food venue
  • 3 meal transfers per week (see restrictions)
  • 5 guest meals per semester to use in Riverside Commons
  • Restrictions
    If transfer meal is used, no access is allowed into Riverside Commons until the next meal period.
    No Freddy 2GO option available.

19 Weekly Plan           $1220 per semester

  • 19 meals every week of semester
  • $65 in Dining Dollars to use at any food venue
  • Meal transfer program available
  • 5 guest meals per semester to use in Riverside Commons
  • Freddy 2GO option at Riverside Commons
  • Restrictions
    1 meal per each meal period.  (breakfast/lunch/dinner/late night)
    Unused meals do not rollover to the next week.

14 Weekly Plan          $1195 per semester

  • 14 meals every week of semester
  • $65 in Dining Dollars to use at any food venue
  • Meal transfer program available
  • 5 guest meals per semester to use in Riverside Commons
  • Freddy 2GO option at Riverside Commons
  • Restrictions
    1 meal per each meal period.  (breakfast/lunch/dinner/late night)
    Unused meals do not rollover to the next week.

120 Block Plan           $1238 per semester

  • 120 meals per semester (averages 8 meals per week)
  • $105 in Dining Dollars to use at any food venue
  • Meal transfer program available
  • Able to convert up to 30 meals into Dining Dollars
  • Freddy 2GO option at Riverside Commons
  • Meals may be used for guests
  • Unused meals do not carry forward to the next semester
  • No meal restrictions

STUDENTS MAY SELECT THE 60 BLOCK PLAN IF ONE OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS IS MET:
 
  1. Live in a residence hall and have completed 60 or more credits (strictly enforced)
  2. Live in South Fork Suites
  3. Live Off Campus

60 Block Plan            $428 per semester - (no dining dollars)

This meal plan is not available to Freshmen and Sophomores living on campus who have completed less than 60 credits.

  • 60 meals per semester (averages 4 meals per week)
  • Meal transfer program available
  • Able to convert up to 30 meals into Dining Dollars
  • Freddy 2GO option at Riverside Commons
  • Meals may be used for guests
  • Unused meals do not carry forward to the next semester
  • No meal restrictions

ADD-ON Block Meals

Students that run out of block meals may purchase additional meals for the semester.

10 Block Meal Add-on      $71.60
25 Block Meal Add-on    $179.00


Transfer Program

The Transfer Meal Program allows meal plan participants to use a meal in retail dining areas outside of Riverside Commons.  A cash equivalency is applied to any purchase made.  If the purchase exceed the cash equivalency rate, the difference can be paid with cash, Dining Dollars, Falcon Dollars or credit card.

Cash Equivalency Value is:
$5.50    Lunch/Brunch
$6.00    Dinner
$5.50    Late Night

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are placed in a debit account for each meal plan (except 60 block) participant. Students are allowed to use Dining Dollars for the purchase of food and beverage items at any dining venue in the University Center. Purchases made with Dining Dollars are exempt from sales tax. Dining Dollars cannot be purchased independently, taken as cash or transferred to others.

Dining Dollars remaining at the end of Fall semester will roll-over to Spring semester IF the student has an active Spring semester meal plan.  All Dining Dollars must be used by the end of the Spring semester, they do not carry-over to the next academic year.

Block Meal Conversion

The 120 and 60 Block plan participants may convert between 1 and 30 meals into Dining Dollars (limited to the remaining balance on their account) at a rate of $6 per meal (maximum of $180 in Dining Dollars). Once meals are converted to Dining Dollars, they may not be converted back to meals.  Dining Dollars cannot be refunded should the meal plan be canceled.

Block meals can be converted to Dining Dollars during designated time periods only.

View Balances and Transactions

You may view your usage and balances for meals, Dining Dollars and Falcon Dollars through GET .
Printing balances can be viewed in Paper Cut.
