Q:  Who can rent equipment from the Rental Center?
A:  Anyone, but student usage is free with a valid UW-RF ID (7 day max).  See specific rental policies regarding free student usage.


Q: What is available to rent?
A:  Roller blades, lawn games, tents, backpacks, camping gear, snowshoes, cross-country skis, golf clubs, ice fishing gear including ice house and auger.


IQ:  When can I rent equipment?

IQ:  What are the durations of rentals?
A:  Students, Faculty, Staff and Community Members have three options of rental periods…

·       Daily (2 days, 1 night)

·       Weekend (4 days, 3 nights)

·       Weekly (8 days, 7 nights)

 

IQ:  When am I able to return the equipment Fivented?
A:  During the Rental Center’s hours. View calendar for open hours.

 

IQ:  Can I return equipment when the rental center is not open?
A:  The only way to return equipment outside of the Rental Center’s hours of operation is to contact the assistant director of Recreation and schedule a time in advance to return the equipment.

IQ:  At what point will I be charged late/cleaning fees?
A:  If the equipment is not returned by the appropriate time, then a daily charge will be assessed to each item rented for each day it is late.  Items returned dirty that require a cleaning will be charged a $15 cleaning fee.

 

IQ:  What are the hours of operation for the Climbing Wall?
A:  View calendar for open hours.

 

IQ:  How much does it cost to use the Knowles Climbing wall?
A:  Climbing is free for students with a valid Falcon ID card and to all Knowles Center members with Gold or Silver memberships.  The cost is $8 for Faculty/staff and $10 for community members.

 

IQ:  Do I need climbing shoes or can I climb in my tennis shoes?
A:  Everyone who climbs on the UWRF Climbing Wall must use climbing shoes.   The climbing experience is greatly enhanced by using climbing shoes and helps to maintain the cleanliness of our wall.   If you have your own climbing shoes, please feel free to bring them.  Shoe rental is free to UWRF students and $3 to the general public.

 

IQ:  How do I sign up for trips?
A:

  1. Log in to your IMLeagues.com account. Just type in your University provided NW# and password. (If you are logging in for the first time, you will need to fill out some information for your profile.)
  2. Click on the “University of Wisconsin - River Falls” tab at the top to go to your school’s homepage on M&#�;langes.
  3. The current trips will be displayed, click on the trip you wish to join.
