UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
As members of the University Staff at UW-River Falls, we have the opportunity to participate in shaping decisions made by the governance groups and administration, a privilege not afforded to University Staff on all UW campuses. This is possible through the University Staff Senate (USS). Created in 2011, USS promotes ongoing education, professional development activities, and communication between University Staff and the broader university community.
Senate members serve as advisers to the chancellor and university administrators when campus decisions are being made. USS provides a forum for all University Staff (represented, non-represented, temporary, and project appointment) encouraging interactions with members of the university community, including faculty, staff, and students.
At our University Staff Luncheon on December 19, 2018, we collected $367.00 and 61 pounds of food that were donated to the local food pantry. Thanks so much everyone!
