Motion 47: Motion for Notice of Impending Action from the Executive Committee to amend Chapter 3.2.6.3 Section C: Election Procedures for the Faculty Senate to now require a vote of the faculty before final approval with a two-fold purpose: (a) to avoid conflict of interests by ensuring that our elections are not managed by a person up for election; and (b) to make adjustments for electronic voting. No signature or approval is necessary until after a simple majority of the faculty have voted in support of this motion.
