The Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) serves as the chief deputy to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. The AVC supervises the graduate studies office; oversees program prioritization, assessment and academic program review processes; provides overall leadership for the Honors Program, Falcon Scholar's Program, Chancellor's Scholars Program, and Outreach and Continuing Education; provides administrative support for faculty and academic staff development; is responsible for institutional accreditation coordination, and both implementing and administering Activity Insight; and serves as the director of faculty development activities. The AVC also represents the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs on governance and system committees, and serves as a liaison to other administrative and academic units, both on and off campus.
