The Associate Vice Chancellor

The Associate Vice Chancellor/Associate Provost (AVC) serves as the chief deputy to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.  The AVC supervises the graduate studies office; provides overall leadership for the Institutional Research Office, program prioritization, assessment and academic program review processes; provides administrative support for faculty and academic staff development; is responsible for institutional accreditation coordination, Activity Insight, faculty development, chair orientations, co-curricular assessment, and the implementation of Navigate, the university's student sucess platform; and serves as the director of faculty development activities.  The Honors Program, Falcon Scholar's Program, Chancellor's Scholars Program, Office of Learning Effectiveness, and Continuing Education report to the AVC.  The AVC also represents the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs on governance and system committees and serves as a liaison to other administrative and academic units, both on and off campus.
