The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is dedicated to providing opportunities and resources that foster high-quality student-faculty collaborative projects and enhance student development. The URSCA Office opened in spring 2013. Our mission is to support and promote the culture of undergraduate research, scholarly and creative activity across campus. We offer URSCA opportunities for students at all levels of the undergraduate experience, from the first and second years through graduation!
Our office provides two grants in order to assist students in funding and presenting their research. The first grant we offer is the USE Grant, which is intented to assist in any expenses necessary to conduct research such as supplies, books and equipment. Another grant we offer is the Falcon Travel Grant. This grant is intended to assist students in paying for their travel costs in order to present, compete, or attend a conference or competition.
