UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The average ELT student takes 12-16 credits of curriculum, which is four to six classes. These classes may include reading, writing, grammar, listening and speaking, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Your classes depend on your level of English when you take the Versant English Placement Test (VEPT). Some students are at the transition level, which means they take some classes in their major in addition to ESL or Modern Language (MODL) classes.
All students are expected to use English on Canvas and on their laptops! Instructors may refuse to help you if your technology remains in your first language.
