- The Disability Resource Center pathway of the Jump Start Program is designed specifically for students who identify as having a disability. This pathway helps first-year students get connected to the disability community at UWRF.
- Participants are given the opportunity to engage with their fellow peers to learn more about disability identity, pride, and disability culture on the River Falls campus.
- We provide you with an opportunity to start building your connection with peer mentors, current students, the Disability Resource Center Staff.
- Participants will learn about how to use academic accommodations at the college level, navigate the transition process, and access college resources.
- Students participating in this program are required to be registered for academic accommodations through the Disability Resource Center (DRC).
- Eligibility for consideration in this pathway is as follows:
- Complete the New Student Application
- Complete an intake appointment with DRC staff
- Submit documentation to support your need for accommodations
