Dropped Classes & Textbooks

When you drop a class you have 4 calendar days (i.e. includes Saturdays and Sundays) to return the books to Textbook Services. This is stated in our policies and on the book list you print out when you pick up your books. You also will receive an automated email from eSIS when you drop the class telling you to return the book(s). The fine for returning these books late is $5 per book (maximum of $10 per class). You can return the books to the drop box and it will be checked in the next business day (i.e. Monday - Friday.)

ALL RETURNED BOOKS AND i-CLICKERS MUST BE CHECKED BACK IN AT THE HELP DESK!
DO NOT JUST RETURN TO THE SHELVES!

Textbook Services is open all year, excluding official university holidays and closures. We do have extended hours during textbook issue and return, which will be posted at least one week in advance.

Textbook Drop Boxes

Textbook Services has two drop boxes for returning textbooks. One is just outside our doors in the basement of Hagestad Hall. The other is outside Hagestad Hall on the east side. Both of these are open whenever we are closed. Books placed in the drop boxes are checked in the next business day.

Welcome to Textbook Services. Our mission is to provide primary and secondary textbooks and learning resources to University of Wisconsin-River Falls students in direct support of the curriculum. Our service is primarily for undergraduate students.

Textbook Services is located in the basement of Hagestad Hall.
