Spring Textbook Pick-up

Textbook pick-up for Spring 2022 will start Tuesday, January 18th. Appointments are required. Click the link below to make an appointment. We will have extended hours from Saturday, January 22nd through Thursday, January27th. Hours for textbook issue are listed below.

To get your booklist for Spring, go to  go.uwrf.edu/MyBooks  and log in with your student ID and password.

Textbook Services Changes

Moved to Library

Textbook Services has moved to the library. Our new location is room 241 Chalmer Davee Library, on the main floor near the back stair case.

Changed from eSIS to Alma

Textbook Services moved the management of our collection from eSIS to Alma (the online platform used by the library.) All check-outs, check-ins, and fines will be handled by Alma. Students will be able see what is currently checked out by logging into MySearch@UW and selecting My Loans. Some other impacts to this change:

  • Students will receive an email after textbooks are checked out, when textbooks are checked in, when they are due, and monthly email reminders.
  • Fines for late and lost books will be similar to the library. Late fines will now be $1/day per book to a maximum of $10 per book.

After Hours Returns

Textbook Services has two drop boxes for after hour textbook return. They are only open when Textbook Services is closed. One is outside the southeast entrance to the Chalmer Davee Library (doors facing the UC.) The other is set in the wall to the left of our service window at 241 Chalmer Davee Library.

Instructions for Shipping Textbooks Back to UWRF

  1. Pack all textbooks in a cardboard box or USPS Flat Rate Box. Fill any voids with packing material (e.g. air pillows, bubble wrap, newsprint).
  2. If you have only one or two books, you may use a padded shipping envelope instead of a box.
  3. Seal box with packing tape.
  4. Address the package to: UW-River Falls Textbook Services, 410 S. 3rd St., River Falls, WI 54022.
  5. Take the box to a Post Office, UPS Office or FedEx Store.
