Request Books to be Mailed

If you are a distance learner, in the ADC program, or only have classes on Saturday you may request to have your textbooks mailed to you. Students enrolled in classes that meet on campus during standard times or who have a River Falls mailing address need to pick up their books in person. (We always offer evening and weekend hours starting the weekend before classes start through the end of the first week of classes.)

The shipping and handling fee is $12 for all shipments. Once we have a complete mail request and have received payment, we will ship your books. All shipments are sent USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground.

Mailing requests for which payment is not received within 10 business days of the original request date will be cancelled.

Steps to Request Textbooks Be Mailed to You:

  1. Read this page completely, including the side bar to the right.
  2. Fill out the form at the bottom of the page. Be sure to include your full name, Falcon ID (“w” number), valid email address*, and complete Mailing Address (Street, City, State and Zip Code.)
  3. Pay the $12 mailing fee. The two methods of payment are:
    1. Pay online at https://marketplace.uwrf.edu/products/textbook-shipping
    2. Mail a check made out to “UWRF” to: UW-River Falls Textbook Services, 410 S. 3rd St., River Falls, WI 54022.

SEE NOTE IN SIDEBAR TO RIGHT BEFORE FILLING OUT THIS FORM!

* Please use your UWRF email address (i.e. your.name@my.uwrf.edu).

Request Date

The earliest that textbooks may be requested to be mailed to students is two weeks before the first day of classes for the requested term. (For example, January 14 is the earliest request date for Spring 2019.) Any requests received before then will not be processed.

Payment for Shipping

Payment for shipping must be either by check (made out to "UWRF") mailed to Textbook Services or online at https://marketplace.uwrf.edu/products/textbook-shipping. WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO TAKE PAYMENTS OVER THE PHONE.

Graduate Students

Most textbooks for graduate students must be purchased. Textbook Services will rent books to graduate students if we carry the title in our inventory and have adequate copies after supplying the needs of all undergraduate students. Graduate students will need to pay the cost of rental, as well as the shipping costs, before textbooks are shipped. PLEASE CALL TEXTBOOK SERVICES BEFORE FILLING OUT FORM!
