UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The UW-River Falls Art Department offers scholarships for which you can apply annually. These are separate from UWRF Scholarship Opportunities. They are funded by the UW-River Falls Foundation through contributions from alumni, faculty, staff, friends, parents, campus organizations, and corporations. These are available only to Art degree seeking students. Specific information on who is eligible and how to apply can be found on the Financial Aid website under Types of Aid. Application Deadline for Fall 2019: June 21, 2019
Eligibility: Incoming freshman, Art major (BS Art, BS Art Education, BFA), minimum ACT of 26 and/or a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Requirements: Essay and digital portfolio. Finalists will be required to complete an interview and provide a physical portfolio containing work samples.
Award Continuance: The award is renewable for up to four academic years, provided the student continues to pursue a degree in Art: BS Art, BS Art Education, BFA. Stipends can be used for undergraduate research or to study abroad during the junior or senior year.
For worthy and creative students majoring in any area of art and continuing as a sophomore, junior, or senior student.
Based upon academic excellence in the major, awarded to a student who has completed at least one full year of study at UWRF. Potential for success and financial need may also be factors.
Awarded to Art majors who have completed the freshman year and have shown creativity and dedication through their artwork and academic classes.
Awarded to an outstanding Art major for the junior or senior year, based upon academic excellence, creativity, and potential.
Awarded to Art majors on the basis of academic excellence in the major who have completed at least one year at UWRF.
Granted to a sophomore or junior Art major who has earned 18 credits in Art at UWRF with a minimum GPA of 3.25 in Art courses.
Awarded to an Art major for the junior or senior year, based upon academic excellence, creativity, and financial need.
