We are glad that you are interested in learning more about mentoring an undergraduate student research project. Mentors play an important role in the undergraduate research process by assisting students in making the transition from classroom learning to real world applications. Mentors contribute to students’ professional and intellectual development; good mentorship generally requires regular meetings and ongoing leadership throughout all phases of a research project, from initial conception to dissemination. Let us know if you are interested in working with Undergraduate Research students and we will be glad to discuss options and opportunities with you.
