Undergraduate Research 101

Are you new to undergraduate research or need a refresher about how to begin the process? Join us on February 8, 2021 for a Q&A session with the director of URSCA, Dr. Earl D. Blodgett at 4pm and 7pm via MS Teams. Dr. Blodgett will be there to answer any questions regarding how to choose a topic, how to find a mentor to help you with your research,  how to start planning a project, and how to create a budget for the application process.

This event showcases undergraduate creativity, achievement, research, service-learning and community-based research from all over the state of Wisconsin in all areas of study, including the humanities, fine arts, biological sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences.

The UW System Symposium is open to all undergraduates and encourages guests and mentors to attend. The Symposium provides an opportunity for students to present their work in a professional setting while gaining public speaking and presentation skills. Additionally, it serves as a forum for other members of the campus and our community to engage in student research.
