UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The School of Education and the School of Allied Health and Social Work- as part of the College of Education, Business and Allied Health- have been an key part of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls since its inception in 1874. Our diverse selection of programs train students for careers in teaching, counseling and school psychology, speech-language pathology, social work, exercise and sports science, and many others. Within our home, the Walker D. Wyman Education building, CEBAH students, under our faculty's guidance, teach the next generation of students in the University Preschool and provide evaluation and intervention services to community members with communication impairments in the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic. We are the only public university in the country with a Montessori graduate program for elementary education, and one of two universities in the nation to offer a graduate-level Montessori program in early childhood education. Meanwhile, our innovative continuing-education programs — like STEMteach — give adult learners unique and flexible opportunities to broaden their skills.
With small classes and experienced faculty, hands-on learning opportunities and world-class facilities, our students gain the insight and knowledge to be leaders in their fields.
