Terms and Conditions of Residence Hall Contract

Before submitting the online Residence Hall Contract, carefully review the Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for knowing all the information contained in this document. Completing and signing the online Residence Hall Contract and submitting the contract payment establishes a binding agreement between the Resident and the University. Any questions about the Residence Hall Contract Terms and Conditions should be referred to the Department of Residence Life.

Study Abroad

Fall Semester

Request to have your $100 deposit held the spring semester before you will be studying abroad by sending an email to reslife@uwrf.edu.
Sign a Spring Only housing and dining contract to move on campus when you return from studying abroad (available starting mid-October in the Housing Portal).

Spring Semester

Request to cancel your housing and dining contract by submitting a Contract Termination Request Form by December 1.
Sign a housing and dining contract for the next academic year through the Housing Portal.
Request to have your $100 housing deposit held by sending an email to reslife@uwrf.edu.

Thu, Aug 29 - Mon, Sept 2	New & transfer student move-in
Fri, Aug 30 - Mon, Sept 2	Returning student move-in
Tue, Sept 3	Classes begin
Sun, Oct 27	Farm and Industry Short Course student move-in
Thu-Fri, Oct 24-25	Fall break, residence halls remain open
Thu-Fri, Nov 28-29	Thanksgiving break, residence halls remain open
Mon, Dec 2	Classes resume
Fri, Dec 20	10 a.m. residence halls close for Winter break
Sat, Dec 21 - Fri, Jan 24	Residence halls open only for those with a Winter break contract
Sat, Jan 25	8 a.m. residence halls open for Spring semester
Fri, March 14	By 10 p.m. Farm and Industry Short Course student move-out
March 17 - 24	Spring break residence halls remain open
Thu, May 15	6 p.m. residence halls close for Summer break students who have final exams at or after 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15 may submit a request to stay until 10 a.m. Friday, May 16 by emailing reslife@uwrf.edu.
