Foster to return as interim chancellor May 26, 2020 – Further to the announcement of the upcoming departure of UW-River Falls Chancellor Dean Van Galen, UW System acted quickly to identify an interim replacement. Earlier today, UW System President Ray Cross announced that Connie Foster has agreed to return to the helm of the institution where she had previously spent nearly 25 years and which she once led in the same role of interim chancellor.

UW-River Falls now accepting applications for online associate of arts and sciences degree May 15, 2020 – UW-River Falls is one of seven University of Wisconsin System campuses now offering an online associate degree program in collaboration with UW Extended Campus. The UW Associate of Arts and Sciences degree program was recently accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is available through UW-Eau Claire, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Parkside, UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Whitewater. Applications are now being accepted for the accredited associate degree program, launching in September 2020.
UW-River Falls plans for fall 2020 course delivery May 14, 2020 - To the greatest extent possible, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls intends to return to in-person classes this fall. UW-River Falls is among hundreds of colleges across the country facing a time-sensitive decision on its approach to course delivery for fall semester. COVID-19 forced UWRF, as well as all UW System campuses, to shift its courses online in mid-March through the end of the spring semester.
