Cemetery Records

  • The UW-River Falls Area Research Center has transcriptions of headstones in all of the public cemeteries in Burnett, Pierce, Polk, and Saint Croix counties.

    • This resource has a surname-only index.
    • This resource is available only in the Area Research Center.
    • "Transcription" means what appears on the headstone, which may include only the year or the full date of birth and death.
    • Many of these are now available on Find A Grave (search our 4 counties in the search box to the right).
  • The Area Research Center has several manuscript collections that contain cemetery records:
