The College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) enrolls approximately 1,500 undergraduates across 15 different majors. Two laboratory farms, a greenhouse complex, food processing plants, specialized laboratory facilities, intercollegiate competitive teams and student organizations, and a very successful industry internship program contribute to the college's active learning environment which emphasizes hands-on experiences in real world settings.

Departments included in CAFES are Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Education, Agricultural Engineering Technology, Animal and Food Science, and Plant Earth Science.
