The DOS Office offers the following services:
  • Care Team - case management
  • Conflict Resolution support
  • Emergency Fund - review and approve requests
  • Hate and Bias Response
  • Freddy's Pantry support
  • Records Requests - disciplinary checks, background checks, transfer documents, etc. 
  • Student Conduct - academic and nonacademic misconduct, on and off campus
  • Title IX and sexual misconduct - process support and investigations
Our Goals:
  • Care & Mental Health: We will provide students with individualized consultations and relevant resources to support their overall wellness and success.
  • Student Conduct & Accountability: We will offer students opportunities to engage in learning after policy violations and/or community harms, in order to change and improve behavior moving forward.
  • Identity & Equity: We will provide a spectrum of opportunities to respond to concerns related to identity-based harm and incidents. 
  • Access & Collaboration: We will offer resources and support to each student that honors their identities, removes barriers, and supports holistic student success
 
  • Communicates with students who may be involved. 
  • Meets with students to discuss the alleged misconduct.
  • Ensures due process throughout the entire process.
  • Upholds the rights of individuals and the entire campus community.
  • Balances the facilitation of individual growth/development with the safety of the campus community.
  • Holds students accountable for their decision-making and behaviors through the use of educational sanctions/outcomes.
  • Reaches out to the referred student. 
  • Offers on- and off-campus resources for support.
  • Offers opportunities to meet with DOS Office staff for consistent and continual support.
