Burnett, perhaps because the relatively high proportion of its residents who are 65 and older, has much higher proportion of adults in fair or poor health.
The percentage of adults in Wisconsin and the St. Croix River Valley counties rating their health as fair or poor has been trending upward over time.
In most years over the 2010 – 2020 time period, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties have lower proportions of their adults rating their health as fair or poor.
In most years, Burnett County has a higher percentage of its adults rating their health as poor or fair than the state average.
The percentage of adults in Minnesota reporting their health as poor or fair has been trending slightly upward over time, but the percentage in Washington County and, especially, in Chisago County have been trending down since 2010.
Washington County consistently has a lower percentage of its adults rating their health as poor or fair than the state average as has Chisago County since 2016.
