Welcome to the Music Department at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. We take pride in offering high-quality programs in music leading to the degrees Bachelor of Arts in Music, Bachelor of Science in Music, and Bachelor of Music Education - Vocal/Choral, Bachelor of Music Education – Instrumental, as well as minors in music and musical theater. The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is a fully accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
Our highly qualified Music Department faculty provide expert instruction in the areas of voice, brass, woodwinds, percussion, strings, guitar, piano, organ, and composition. Our majors and minors provide areas of focus in vocal performance, instrumental performance, music education, composition, conducting, jazz studies, piano pedagogy, and musical theater. Our students and faculty benefit from the advantages of the comfortable, friendly, and scenic UWRF campus, all within close proximity to the excellent musical, artistic and cultural offerings of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area.
