M Health Fairview Clinic-River Falls appointments: 715-425-6701. Press option 2. This will connect to the care team. Tell the staff person answering the phone that you are an UWRF student and need to be scheduled at the River Falls Clinic for an appointment.
Students are eligible for Student Health Services during the two academic terms, and the January and Summer terms, as long as they are registered for classes and have paid required fees.
Please see the website for current hours. Students should call ahead for appointments and identify themselves as a current UWRF student. Depending on the provider and the reason for the appointment, telehealth or an in-person visit may be scheduled. Telehealth appointments are covered by Student Health Services just as in-person appointments have been in the past. On Saturday and Sunday, no appointment is necessary and students can see a provider on a walk-in basis.
All services listed above are provided as part of student fees. A student's health insurance will be billed for services prior to being sent to Student Health Services, but Student Health Services will cover the cost or any remaining cost for covered services not paid by student's insurance. If a student does not wish for their insurance company to be billed, they should notify the clinic registration staff (but students may receive a bill for services not covered by Student Health Services).
The M Health Fairview Clinic-River Falls provides a full range of medical services, but only those services listed above are covered by Student Health Services. Services not listed above, such as prenatal care and specialist visits (such as surgeon or orthopedist), xrays, wart removal, or medication injections are not covered. No services are covered at the Allina River Falls Area Hospital or Emergency Room, or the Allina Health River Falls Clinic.
If a student does not have health insurance, prior to scheduling appointments they may want to learn more about Wisconsin Health Care Programs.

Presentation of a valid student I.D. is required. If students are covered by an insurance plan, they must bring insurance cards or information. UWRF Student Health Services will not provide excuses for absences from class. A student who is absent is responsible for notifying instructors by phone, email, or in- person of the absence as soon as possible. Arrangements for make-up work, make-up exams, or possible assignment adjustments are entirely the responsibility of the student. Medical excuses also will not be written by staff or providers at the M Health Fairview Clinic-River Falls.
