Self-Service Reporting (UWBI)

 


 

 

What is UWBI?

University of Wisconsin Business Intelligence (UWBI) is a web-based reporting application that provides comprehensive business intelligence and analytics capabilities, including interactive dashboards, standardized reporting, data vizualizations, ad hoc queries, and more.

How do I access UWBI?

Before you can log in to the UWBI system, your supervisor/manager will need to submit the UWBI Access Service Request form, found here (click the green "Request Service" button): https://technology.uwrf.edu/TDClient/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=31647

(Note: Users with director or dean level access can submit the request for themselves.)

For the Action section, select the following: Request something DoTS offers  >  Software  >  Other  >  UWBI (Business Intelligence) Access [Supervisor Requests]

In the Additional Information section, please provide justification and need for the access being requested.

The UWBI Access Service Request form can be used to request access to the following data sources:

  • Admissions: Admit term and type as well as information relating to the student record collected through Admissions.
  • Student Records: Access to active students, current students, enrollments, course scheduling, advisors, graduating students, and others relating to the student record.

You will need a valid Falcon ID and Duo Multi-Factor Authentication to log in to UWBI.
